SheetBridge Google Workspace Connector — Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using SheetBridge Google Workspace Connector (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SheetBridge Google Workspace Connector is a Google Workspace add-on that facilitates the transfer of data from Google Sheets to AWS Redshift clusters. The Service provides:
- Connection configuration (Mode A: IAM role; Mode B: direct credentials)
- Data transformation and validation
- Real-time job status tracking
- Error reporting and troubleshooting support
The Service is provided "as-is" without guarantees of uptime or availability.
3. Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- The owner or authorized user of your Google Workspace account
- Authorized to access your AWS account and Redshift cluster
- Authorized to bind your organization to these Terms (if using a corporate account)
You are responsible for any AWS charges incurred while using SheetBridge. SheetBridge does not reimburse AWS fees.
4. User Accounts & Credentials
4.1 Google Workspace Account
You must have a valid Google Workspace account to use SheetBridge. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your Google account login credentials secure
- Enabling multi-factor authentication (recommended)
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access
4.2 AWS Credentials (Mode A)
If using Mode A (cross-account IAM role):
- You must have the authority to create IAM roles in your AWS account
- The IAM role trust policy must be configured exactly as specified in the SETUP_GUIDE
- You are responsible for managing the role's permissions and external ID
- Regenerating or rotating the external ID will invalidate SheetBridge's access (you'll need to reconnect)
4.3 Redshift Credentials (Mode B)
If using Mode B (direct credentials):
- You must have the authority to provide Redshift database credentials
- The database user must have
CREATE TABLEpermissions on the target schema - You are responsible for rotating your password; SheetBridge does not force password expiration
- Sharing your Redshift credentials with SheetBridge grants us access to your Redshift cluster (use Mode A if possible)
- Password resets will require updating your SheetBridge configuration
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Permitted Uses
You may use SheetBridge to:
- Load data from Google Sheets into your Redshift cluster
- Test and validate your data pipelines
- Automate routine data loads as part of your business workflows
5.2 Prohibited Uses
You may not use SheetBridge to:
- Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Transfer data you do not own or are not authorized to transfer
- Perform SQL injection or other attacks against Redshift or AWS
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract SheetBridge's source code
- Circumvent rate limiting or access controls
- Interfere with or disrupt SheetBridge's operations or infrastructure
- Use SheetBridge to send malicious content, spam, or harassment
- Attempt unauthorized access to other users' configurations or job history
6. Data & Content
6.1 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy and integrity of your sheet data
- Compliance with applicable laws regarding the data you transfer (GDPR, CCPA, data residency requirements, etc.)
- Obtaining necessary rights and permissions to transfer data to Redshift
- Ensuring your data does not violate third-party intellectual property rights
- Backing up your data (SheetBridge does not maintain long-term backups)
6.2 Data Ownership
- Sheet Data: Remains your property at all times
- Redshift Data: Your Redshift cluster and all data within it remain your property
- Job Metadata: SheetBridge owns the job records (status, timestamps, error details) but you own the underlying data
- Staging Data: Temporary staging tables in your Redshift cluster belong to you
6.3 Data Retention & Deletion
SheetBridge retains:
- Job records: 30 days (automatic deletion via DynamoDB TTL)
- S3 staging data: 24 hours (automatic deletion via S3 lifecycle rule)
- Access logs: 30 days
- Your configuration: Until you delete your SheetBridge account
When you delete your SheetBridge account:
- Your configuration (cluster details, credentials, external ID) is permanently deleted
- Your job history is deleted (unless you have older than 30-day records, which are already deleted)
- Your Redshift cluster and data are not deleted (you retain full control)
We will not:
- Delete data in your Redshift cluster
- Delete data in your S3 bucket
- Retain copies of your sheet data after 24 hours
- Monitor or audit your Redshift cluster after disconnection
7. Fees & Pricing
7.1 SheetBridge Fees
SheetBridge Google Workspace Connector v1.0 is free. No fees are charged by SheetBridge.
7.2 AWS Costs
You are responsible for all AWS charges incurred while using SheetBridge, including:
- Redshift Data API calls
- S3 storage (staging data)
- DynamoDB operations
- KMS encryption/decryption (Mode B)
- NAT gateway charges (Mode B)
- Lambda invocations (covered under free tier for v1)
SheetBridge does not reimburse AWS fees. Consult the AWS pricing calculator to estimate costs.
8. Warranties & Disclaimers
8.1 Limited Warranty
SheetBridge is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Data transfers will always succeed on first attempt
- All AWS services will always be available
8.2 No Availability Guarantee
SheetBridge makes no guarantee regarding uptime, response time, or availability. The Service may be down for maintenance, updates, or issues beyond our control.
8.3 Disclaimer of Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheetBridge is not liable for:
- Lost or corrupted data
- Lost profits or revenue
- Lost business opportunities
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- AWS billing disputes or unexpected charges
- Redshift cluster outages or failures
- Google Workspace account suspension or data loss
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SheetBridge, its founders, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or costs arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your data or content that violates third-party rights
- Your Redshift configuration or AWS account mismanagement
- Your violation of applicable laws
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SheetBridge's total liability to you is limited to $0 (the amount you paid for SheetBridge, which is free). Some jurisdictions do not permit liability waivers; in those cases, liability is limited to direct damages up to the amount you paid (zero).
11. Confidentiality
11.1 Your Confidential Information
You may share information with SheetBridge (e.g., cluster names, schemas, configuration). We will:
- Keep your information confidential (not disclose to third parties)
- Use it only to provide the Service
- Protect it with reasonable security measures (encryption, access controls)
- Retain it only as long as needed to provide the Service
11.2 Exceptions
We may disclose your information if:
- Required by law (subpoena, court order, government request)
- Necessary to enforce these Terms or protect rights/safety
- You give us explicit consent
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 SheetBridge IP
All code, design, documentation, and branding associated with SheetBridge are owned by SheetBridge or its licensors. You may not:
- Copy or modify SheetBridge's code
- Reverse-engineer or decompile the Service
- Sell, license, or redistribute SheetBridge
- Remove copyright or license notices
12.2 License Grant
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SheetBridge solely for your business purposes.
13. Account Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may discontinue using SheetBridge at any time by:
- Removing the add-on from your Google Workspace
- Revoking SheetBridge's access in Google Account settings
- Calling
DELETE /v1/tenant-configvia the API
Termination is immediate; no notice required.
13.2 Termination by SheetBridge
We may suspend or terminate your access to SheetBridge if you:
- Violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy
- Engage in illegal activity
- Attempt to attack or reverse-engineer SheetBridge
- Accumulate excessive AWS charges due to abuse
- Violate Google Workspace policies
We will attempt to notify you before termination, but are not required to do so.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to SheetBridge is immediately revoked
- Your job history (older than 30 days) is already deleted; remaining records will be deleted per the retention policy
- Your Redshift cluster and data are not affected
- You remain responsible for any AWS charges incurred
14. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or by posting the updated Terms in the add-on. Your continued use of SheetBridge after a modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed, and the remaining provisions remain in effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms (including the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and SheetBridge regarding the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia, and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
18. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating legal action, you agree to attempt informal resolution:
- Send a written notice to admin@inlyt.io describing the dispute
- Both parties will attempt to resolve within 30 days
- If unresolved, you may pursue other remedies
19. Waiver
Failure by SheetBridge to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Appendix: Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention
SheetBridge enforces rate limits to prevent abuse:
- Per-user limits on
/v1/pushand/v1/connection/validate - Global API Gateway limits as a backstop
- Violating rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are expressly prohibited:
- Brute-force attacks: Attempting to guess user IDs or credentials
- DDoS: Flooding SheetBridge with requests to disrupt service
- SQL injection: Crafting malicious column names or table names
- Credential theft: Attempting to intercept or steal authentication tokens
- Data exfiltration: Attempting to access other users' data or configuration
- Cryptomining: Using SheetBridge resources to mine cryptocurrency
- Malware distribution: Using SheetBridge to distribute malicious content
Violators will be banned without refund (no refund available; service is free).
